The Office of Community Relations (OCR) manages Trinity College’s institutional relationships with external partners, fostering reciprocal relationships that benefit both the College and its partners. While OCR oversees these strategic connections, the Center for Hartford Engagement and Research (CHER) and other campus stakeholders engage with partners on a programmatic level, developing specific initiatives and collaborations that create pathways for Trinity students to engage and embrace the City of Hartford.
Visit Trinity
Welcome, Hartford area residents and partners! Our campus is open to the community.
Core Community Partners
These organizations have deep historical roots and connections not only to the campus community but also to families living in the neighborhoods surrounding the College.
Neighborhood Revitalization Zones (NRZs)
Since their inception, Trinity College has supported the three NRZs in the neighborhoods immediately surrounding the College—Frog Hollow, Barry Square, and Behind the Rocks—through staff and funding support.
A project designed to preserve the rich history and diverse culture of Hartford’s Frog Hollow neighborhood has taken shape over the past two years, with Trinity College students in multiple programs playing a leading role in this community-centered work.
